We opened a bio-vegetarian. We tell you why it is needed
The idea of bio-vegetarium is not new, as far back as the 30s of the last century, a solar vegetarian in Ukraine was invented by physics teacher Alexander Vasilievich Ivanov. Ivanov developed a helioteplitz, letting in up to 87% of sunlight. Therefore, in it, plants practically did not require additional illumination and additional heat for high fruiting.
A physics teacher managed to put the sun at the service of the crop. The results of his work are described in the book "Sunny Vegetarian": “With an area of 16.5 square meters. m removed over a year more than 200 kg of lemons. Still there pineapples and tangerines grew. And cucumbers and tomatoes from 1 square. m collected 43-44 kg. And this required very low heating costs, and even then only in the cold winters of the 40s and 50s ”.
A vegetarium, unlike a greenhouse, can be used all year round. It is always with a slope, usually with a steepness of 14-16 to 18-19 degrees, thanks to this design, the absorption of solar energy is higher than in the greenhouse in the morning and evening hours in autumn, spring and winter.
In addition, in a vegetarium, one wall must be made capital, you can use a wall, for example, at home. The wall acts as a reflector and is especially effective when the sun is low in the sky, that is, in the morning, evening and in winter. This will help increase the amount of sunshine facing the soil at this time. A thermos greenhouse can be made deep in the soil, because at a depth of about two meters, the soil has almost the same temperature during the year.
In general, a vegetarian is well insulated. A closed cycle of air and heat exchange also contributes to heat generation. To do this, heating is also through the heating system in the soil, which usually passes at a depth of 30 cm to a meter.
Such a vegetarium device should provide a high temperature indoors, even if it is freezing outside.
A bio-vegetarian is practically energy-free, but only at temperatures up to -10 degrees, - say practitioners. In our latitudes, temperatures up to minus 50 are not uncommon. Therefore, taking Ivanov’s best practices as a basis, enthusiasts adapt them to our realities.
In the coming year, in the very middle of January in Ulan-Ude, Dr. Shablin's bio-vegetarium was opened. The area of the thermos greenhouse is 540 sq.m.
In its bio-vegetarian, despite the fact that there are 30-degree frosts on the street, it is comfortable and what is very important - electricity, water and heating are completely autonomous.
As noted by Peter Shablin, Director General of NPO “EM-Center”, author of Russian EM-technology, several innovations are applied here at once.
- In order for the greenhouse economy to be profitable year-round in our conditions, it was necessary to think over a technology that would allow the greenhouse to function in winter without heating. There is no electric or gas heating, no boiler room. All work is built on solar panels that are located outside. With their help, electricity is generated, and solar concentrators go along the walls in the room, they accumulate heat, ”said Peter Ayusheevich.
In winter, this allows you to heat the water in the tank, which passes inside the entire walkway, and distribute heat through a system of warm floors, which pass at a depth of about a meter, while the soil also prevents a thick layer of insulating material from freezing. At night, the greenhouse automatically closes with a blanket, which also allows you not to waste heat.
Water is respectively taken from an autonomous well.
Dill has already been planted in the beds; tomatoes will soon be planted with seedlings. At the same time, in the laboratory, all seeds are checked so that they are truly non-GMO.
- The idea is precisely to get highly cost-effective, environmentally friendly products with pronounced healing properties without energy costs for heating. For example, we want to work out the technology of raising lycopene at least 10 times on tomatoes, lycopene, you know, this is the main anti-cancer substance that is in tomatoes, ”said Dr. Shablin.
The area of the thermos greenhouse will allow in the second half of the field to soon sow more wheat. The seedlings of which are needed for food production NPO EM-Center.
In such greenhouses you can grow any crops, not only familiar tomatoes, which, by the way, once planted, can be grown to the size of trees and harvested year-round for several years, but also exotic ones, such as grapes. So we expect environmentally friendly vegetables and fruits, without any pesticides, grown in Ulan-Ude.
Such a greenhouse can be used by farmers to germinate green fodder, medicinal herbs. To have juicy green food for all kinds of animals in winter is, respectively, weight gain, milk yield, and the best egg production. You can keep birds in a warm greenhouse. This will allow farmers to profit all year round.
According to the author of the project, Peter Shablin, the construction of the facility cost 15 million rubles, but the operation of a bio-vegetarian is simple and does not require expensive specialists. He plans to build another five greenhouses. In this case, the payback period of the facility will be 4-5 years. All this as a guarantee of obtaining products with low cost.
The construction of bio-vegetarians to produce fresh products year-round, in the light of the prospect of the federal law “On Organic Products” that entered into force on January 1, 2020, is of great importance.
